Job summary

roseyoung is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a hands-on leadership role in a world-leading manufacturing environment in the UK. You will report to the Operations Director and drive daily operations along with the Sales Desk, supervising 10–15 staff across both areas to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality output.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate production schedules, and maintain strong cross-functional communication to meet customer expectations and drive

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Excellent people management and communication skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a practical approach.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and production software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Director in day-to-day management of manufacturing operations and the Sales Desk.
• Lead and develop Production and Sales Desk teams, promoting a positive, collaborative culture.
• Plan workloads to ensure production schedules and customer orders are completed on time.
• Ensure excellent customer service via timely responses, quotations, and order processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and overall customer experience.
