Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Press Operator to transform aluminium slugs into cans in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will operate and maintain press equipment, perform quality checks, and record data to ensure products meet customer specs.

The role requires experience in a mechanical/maintenance-focused setting, strong attention to quality, and fluent English. Expect rotating 12-hour shifts with day and night patterns, supporting continuous production.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a mechanically/maintenance focused role within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
Good communication skills with the ability to clearly explain processes and share information effectively.
Strong understanding of quality requirements and attention to detail when inspecting products and recording data.
Ability to follow work instructions, production documentation, and works orders accurately.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

How You\'ll Make a Difference

As a Press Operator, you will play a key role in transforming aluminium slugs into high-quality cans while supporting safe and efficient production operations. Working within a 24/7 manufacturing environment, you will combine machine operation, quality control, and basic mechanical activities to help ensure products meet customer specifications. You will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance both product quality and operational performance.
