Job summary

Ball Corporation in Kettering is seeking a Manufacturing Operator. You will be a key part of the Kettering team, reporting to the Production Team Leader, performing tasks to support the plant’s production goals.

The role involves 6 days on a rotating shift pattern (6 x 8.5 hours per shift) with 4 days off. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards and coaching others on lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Manufacturing background not required.

Responsibilities

• Complies with plant and corporate directives for safe work.
• Owns the production line and drives world-class manufacturing results.
• Inspects in-process or finished product to ensure quality.
• Maintains a safe and efficient work environment and workspace.
• Initiates and supports lean and improvement initiatives.
• Provides on-the-job training for other personnel.
• 6 days rotating shifts: 2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 nights.
