Ultra Precision Control Systems in Cheltenham is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support the manufacture, integration and test of high-precision aerospace products.

You will work on sub-assemblies, setup tooling, and ensure build documentation complies with controlled processes while maintaining training records and adhering to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Code of Practices and IPC620A Standards - training will be provided.
• Previous experience in a precision assembly environment

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for aerospace.
• Assemble sub-assemblies for high precision products using appropriate tooling.
• Setup tooling such as presses and drills in accordance with documentation.
• Ensure build documentation is completed per procedures.
• Maintain training records as evidence of work carried out.
• Adhere to drawings, manufacturing instructions and specifications.

Job Description

Eaton MSD Cheltenham are looking for a Manufacturing Operator. The Eaton MSD Cheltenham manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• To manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for the aerospace industry.
• To manufacture a variety of sub-assemblies for use with Eaton MSD Cheltenham's range of high precision products using appropriate tooling and processes in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
• Setup tooling such as presses, drills, special to type tooling etc in accordance with controlled documentation, and in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
• To ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
• To maintain training records in accordance with company procedure as evidence of work carried out.
• Full understanding of the expectations and requirements of being an Eaton MSD Cheltenham certified Stamp Holder.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant drawings, manufacturing instructions process sheets and specifications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Familiar with Code of Practices and IPC620A Standards - not essential as training will be provided.
• Previous experience in a precision assembly environment
