Job summary

Rubberatkins, Ltd. in Aberdeen is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our workshop team. You will prepare materials and equipment and produce high-quality rubber and plastic moulded products to specification, reporting to the Shift Team Leader.

The role operates on a three-shift rotation (6 am–2 pm, 2 pm–10 pm, 10 pm–6 am) with a comprehensive 5-week training from day one. We offer a 37.5-hour week, generous holidays, pension, life insurance, onsite parking, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing (5S) is advantageous.
• Manual handling experience.
• Desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for production.
• Produce rubber and plastic moulded products to specification.
• Work under the Shift Team Leader and rotate tasks across the three-shift pattern.

Don't worry if you're not an expert yet; we provide a comprehensive 5-week training program from day one. Be ready to work shifts on a three-shift rotation pattern (6 am – 2 pm, 2 pm – 10 pm & 10 pm – 6 am), rotating each week.
