Job summary

West Riding Recruitment is seeking Production/Manufacturing Operatives to join a Huddersfield site on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is physically active, involves manual handling and working on rotating shifts.

You'll contribute to loading, moving, inspecting and packaging components, while maintaining safety and quality standards as part of a supportive team. Training provided with progression to permanent positions.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Manual handling experience required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Own safety boots/shoes.
• Desirable: reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Load components onto production frames and secure them.
• Move products through production line stages.
• Remove completed components from clamps and fixtures.
• Inspect and package finished products for customer delivery.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a team.
