Job summary

Brook Street in Paddock Wood, Kent is recruiting Production Operatives for a busy manufacturing operation. This hands-on role involves producing high-quality products, supporting processes such as mixing, coating and embossing, and working to target production schedules.

You'll join a team on rotating shifts with a Friday off during the late-shift week. Full training is provided, and there are long-term career development opportunities, a company pension, and sick pay after probation.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills.

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality products.
• Support production processes including mixing, coating, printing and embossing.
• Load and set print and embossing cylinders.
• Clean machinery between production runs.
• Carry out quality inspections on finished products.
• Pack products ready for dispatch.
• Minimise waste and maximise production efficiency.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the production area.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
