Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking Manufacturing Operatives for sites in Sheffield and Chesterfield. The roles involve operating and monitoring automated manufacturing machinery, with full training provided.

Salary is £25,717 to £27,217 per year, plus Holiday entitlement of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays. You will work to production targets, perform routine quality checks, support warehouse duties, and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow processes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing and production machinery (full training provided).
• Carry out machine changeovers, including material adjustments and process settings.
• Work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Complete routine quality checks in line with company procedures.
• Support general warehouse and production duties as required.
• Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, keeping a clean and safe working area.
• Report to a Shift Supervisor and work effectively as part of a small team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency across the site.
