Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting Manufacturing Operatives for its Sheffield & Chesterfield sites. This is a stable, long-term production role with full training and clear progression paths.

You will join a small, focused team, operate automated machinery, and help maintain high quality standards while meeting production targets. The role offers a salary of £25,717–£27,217, 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, and benefits including pension, work wear, and parking.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow processes accurately.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing and production machinery (full training provided).
• Carry out machine changeovers, including material adjustments and process settings.
• Work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Complete routine quality checks in line with company procedures.
• Support general warehouse and production duties as required.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working area.
• Report to a Shift Supervisor and work effectively as part of a small team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency across the site.
