Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operative to work with our client on an ongoing basis.

The company is a respected provider of specialist equipment to train manufacturers and train operating companies across the UK and internationally.

Based in Manchester, the role involves manufacturing activities including weighing and mixing raw materials, cleaning and blasting with specialized equipment, curing products using presses, and grinding and linishing finished items.

The position offers shift work with options for morning (06:00 - 14:00), afternoon (14:00 - 22:00), or night shifts (22:00 - 06:00).

Applicants should have previous experience in an engineering manufacturing or assembly environment and be familiar with basic hand and power tools such as grinders. A basic qualification in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.

Holding a Counterbalance Forklift Truck license would be beneficial but is not essential.
