Location: Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2
Employment Type: Full-Time | Shift-Based
Shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 / 22:00–06:00
Pay Rate: £15.18 – £15.51 per hour

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Operator who’s hands-on, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. If you're someone who takes pride in quality work and being part of a skilled team that gets the job done right — this role is for you.

️ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate alloy melting and casting machinery to exacting standards.
  • Weigh and mix metallic elements with care and precision to produce proprietary alloys.
  • Maintain detailed records for batch traceability and alloy compositions.
  • Support and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to keep performance high.
  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) protocols — especially around high heat and heavy equipment.
  • Help perform basic preventative maintenance on casting equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts — smarter, safer, faster production.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina — you’ll be lifting, moving, and working on your feet.
  • A hands-on mindset with a team-first attitude.
  • Ability to stay focused, follow instructions, and work with care in an industrial setting.
  • Willingness to wear full PPE and work in high-temperature environments.
  • Manufacturing experience is a bonus — but not essential. We’ll train you.
