Job summary

Echelon Engineers is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee fabrication and assembly operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards and safety. You will direct scheduling, workforce planning and shop floor data capture to optimise performance.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with purchasing, engineering and design teams, and manage production meetings to drive delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production management within manufacturing.
• Excellent scheduling and planning capabilities.
• Leadership experience with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow and execute contract requirements in line with Master Production Schedules.
• Instruct production supervisors and employees to ensure optimum workforce planning.
• Minimise production constraints through effective scheduling of resources and deployment.
• Generate and release Production Works Orders using MRP and CRP systems.
• Coordinate with stores teams to collate scheduled work into component kits and sub-assemblies.
