Job summary

Independent Forgings and Alloys Ltd (IFA) seeks a Production Director for its Sheffield site. The role reports to the CEO and leads Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance and HSE to deliver safety, quality, delivery and cost excellence.

As a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape operational strategy, drive capital projects and build a high-performing leadership team to support ambitious growth in a highly regulated, technically advanced forging business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance and HSE.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Track record of delivering operational excellence in heavy/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver manufacturing strategy aligned to business objectives and growth.
• Lead Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance and HSE functions to achieve excellence.
• Champion safety culture and regulatory compliance; implement Lean and CI.
