Qualifications

• Established Manufacturing Manager in food manufacturing.
• Qualified in food safety and HACCP.
• Health & safety certification such as IOSH / NEBOSH.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the production team - coordinating with supply chain, planning and technical for resources.
• Set daily and weekly performance targets and implement improvement plans.
• Oversee production to ensure quality and food safety in line with HACCP and GMP.
• Monitor production costs to keep within budget.
• Carry out direct report appraisals and personal development plans.

A well-established multi-site food manufacturer is looking to appoint a Manufacturing Manager to take operational ownership of a brand new product line and dedicated facility at their existing site. With a people focused senior leadership team in place, now is an ideal time to join them in this brand new role.

The Role

As part of the leadership team, cross functional collaboration is key. The Manufacturing Manager will be instrumental in championing the company ethos of encouragement, empowerment and development, alongside developing a framework of manufacturing excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and oversee the production team - working with supply chain, planning and technical to ensure resources are available in line with productivity targets.
• Set performance targets to drive optimal efficiency - daily and weekly and set performance improvement plans if necessary.
• Oversee production team to ensure quality and food safety standards are being met, line line with quality manual and HACCP.
• Ensure GMP standards are being adhered to.
• Monitoring production costs to ensure manufacturing falls within budget.
• Promote a safe working environment, addressing any safety concerns where necessary
• Carry out direct report appraisals to both evaluate performance and create personal development plans.

About You
