A brand new position has become available within an R&D Manufacturing facility in Aylesbury. This role will challenge your creativity and provide an opportunity to establish your own mark on a new management position within a business set to double in size over the next 2 years.

The main responsibilities will include:

1. Managing a team of 12 Production Engineers and Design Engineers
2. Collaborating with the Quality Manager & Design Manager
3. Overseeing all manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
4. Leading and mentoring the production team
5. Implementing KPIs within the department and ensuring targets are met
6. Assisting in Non-Conformance reporting
7. Purchasing materials and spares
8. Streamlining production planning processes
9. Managing high-quality, low-volume production

To be considered for this position, you should have previous experience in a Production Management or Manufacturing Management role. Ideally, you will have progressed through a Production Engineering role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the full manufacturing process.
