Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a leading global life science and consumer care organisation on its Staffordshire manufacturing site. This role demands hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will work with external contractors and internal teams, complete maintenance records and compliance docs, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Hands-on maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems (pumps, valves, motors, instrumentation).
• Accurate completion of maintenance and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment to maintain operational reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime in manufacturing processes.
• Liaise with external contractors and internal teams to support safe and efficient production activities.
• Complete accurate maintenance records, job sheets, and compliance documentation in line with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support safety, environmental, and quality standards.
