Job summary

Safran in Burnley is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a key production area, delivering world-class performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Inventory. You will apply Lean principles, drive Right First Time, and lead root cause analysis using 8D and 5 Why to sustain continuous improvement.

You will manage a large team, collaborate across Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain, and ensure capacity aligns with demand while controlling budgets

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing operations and teams.
• Proven ability to drive Lean and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of MRP/MRPII and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to meet delivery targets.
• Drive SQCDPI metrics and Right First Time delivery.
• Lead QRQC reviews and daily operational routines.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Develop and implement continuity plans to safeguard output.
• Foster leadership development and employee engagement.
