Job summary

IC Resources in Oxford is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to own the transition from prototype to scalable production. You’ll shape processes, select equipment and build supplier relationships with close collaboration across mechanical, electrical and thermal teams.

With 5+ years in advanced manufacturing and an engineering degree, you’ll drive DFm/DFa, automation and external partnerships to ensure production readiness and a path to high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an advanced manufacturing environment (e.g., power electronics, robotics, precision engineering).
• Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA).
• Hands-on experience with robotics, tooling and/or custom automation.
• Experience working with external manufacturing partners and suppliers.
• Proven track record of taking manufacturing processes, equipment or automation from concept to operation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the transition from prototype to scalable production, shaping processes and equipment.
• Develop supplier relationships and drive testing and production readiness in collaboration with engineering teams.
