Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on HSE Coordinator to own a manufacturing site in the Cheadle area, reporting to the Managing Director and senior leaders. The role focuses on shop-floor engagement, risk assessment and incident investigation, with a drive for continuous improvement rather than maintaining the status quo.

Ideally you will have a NEBOSH Certificate and a couple of years in a similar HSE role within manufacturing, plus ISO 45001 knowledge and a proactive hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate level qualification with a couple of years in a similar HSE role.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is desirable.
• ISO 45001 knowledge and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Own a manufacturing site on a day-to-day basis.
• Engage shop floor teams and leadership to improve safety.
• Conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents.
• Drive continuous improvement rather than maintain the status quo.
