Job summary

We are partnered with a global leader in telecoms manufacturing seeking an HSE Advisor to join the team at the Manufacturing HQ in Greenwich, London. In this role you will advise managers, colleagues and external contractors on a variety of HSE related matters within a manufacturing and production environment.

It is important that the successful candidate is able to attend site in Greenwich a minimum of 4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experienced HSE Advisor in manufacturing, engineering or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
• Ability to advise managers and contractors on health and safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Carry out H&S monitoring in all areas of the site.
• Support Managers/Team-leaders on HSE good practice and principles.
• Follow up on reports of incidents, keep records, and produce improvement reports.
• Record incidents and accidents and provide statistics for managers.
• Carry out risk assessments and create/update risk assessments.
• Lead safety committees and oversee compliance with regulations.
