Job summary

IDEX Material Processing Technologies, Matcon division, seeks a proactive HR Business Partner to partner with leaders across the UK. You will lead employee relations, recruitment, learning, payroll and HRIS processes, while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture at Matcon Head Office in Evesham.

The role covers talent development, succession planning, performance management and HR operations to support business goals within a manufacturing setting. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of managing employee relations cases independently through to resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and employees to provide expert HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, employment legislation and people-related matters.
• Support and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and workplace investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
• Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding and performance management through to employee development, retention, and exit processes.
• Drive employee engagement, health and wellbeing initiatives and DE&I programmes to enhance employee experience, engagement and retention.
• Support the delivery of My Voice employee engagement surveys, analysing trends and developing targeted action plans.
• Utilise people data and feedback to identify trends and provide insights for workforce planning.
