Job summary

Niftylift Limited in Barnsley is recruiting a General Operative to join a leading manufacturing team. You will operate non-CNC machinery, assist fabrication/welding, and ensure high workmanship standards at our state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires manufacturing experience, ability to use gauges and fixtures, and GCSE Maths/English at grade 4 or above. Overtime and performance bonuses are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Experience using jigs and assembly fixtures for high quality parts.
• Experience using gauges and measuring equipment for inspection.
• GCSE Maths and English (grade 4 or above) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate non-CNC machines to manufacture steel components.
• Support fabrication/welding teams as needed and maintain quality workmanship.
• Adhere to high standards in a world-class manufacturing environment.
