Job summary

Catering in Witney, Oxfordshire is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across production, procurement, logistics and administration, with a hands-on approach to cost control and quality.

The role offers flexible 3–5 day weeks, with a supportive handover from the retiring manager, and a salary in the £45k–£55k range plus pension and bonus. You will report to the owner/MD and shape the UK operation.

Qualifications

• Senior operational management within manufacturing or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, production planning, logistics, and administration.
• Experience managing budgets, cost structures, and performance metrics.
• Track record of leading teams and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities across production, procurement, logistics, and administration.
• Lead and support the Gloucestershire team with strong communication and performance.
• Maintain output, efficiency, and quality across hardware production.
• Monitor budgets, spending, and operational costs.
• Uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with overseas facilities to ensure alignment and consistency.
• Work with Owner/MD on operational priorities and long-term planning.
