Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager role in North Kent, a site-based position within a manufacturing/engineering environment. You will lead financial reporting activities, partner with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with UK GAAP while driving FP&A processes.

You will manage monthly accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and develop financial models to deliver meaningful insights for manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Manufacturing or Engineering background.
• Experience in a deadline-driven finance function.
• Strong background in financial reporting and FP&A.
• Proven experience improving financial processes and controls.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• A commercial mindset and ability to influence operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate monthly management accounts and financial commentary.
• Assisting with year-end statutory accounts preparation and ensuring UK GAAP compliance.
• Supporting financial controls and collaborating with Financial Accounting teams.
• Preparing company tax pack reporting for the Group.
• Supporting quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and medium-term planning.
• Partnering with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Engineering teams for financial insight.
• Developing financial models to support scenario planning, pricing reviews and margin analysis.
• Analysing revenue, costs and working capital to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting cashflow forecasting, capex appraisals, ROI assessments and strategic decisions.
