Job summary

ACCA Careers is recruiting a Financial Controller for an international engineering and manufacturing group during a period of transformation. The role is broad, hands-on and commercially focused, offering scope to influence performance across the business and to shape systems, processes, inventory and group reporting.

You will engage with manufacturing ERP implementations, stock valuation and group consolidation, partnering with stakeholders to drive profit improvements and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with proven management accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercially minded with business partnering focus.
• Knowledge of stock/inventory accounting and valuation.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Stock valuation and inventory accounting.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to analyse costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost control and profitability.
• Prepare information for board reporting.
• Support ERP and finance system improvements.
• Provide commercially focused analysis to senior management.
• Operate across multiple international operations and currencies.
