Job summary

The Oval Partnership is supporting a European manufacturing group to recruit a Finance Manager to take end-to-end financial ownership of the UK factory site in Peterborough.

You will act as the Finance Business Partner to the Plant Manager and site leadership, translating operations metrics into financial strategy and partnering on cost-saving initiatives to improve factory profitability.

Qualifications

• Factory/costing or operations finance experience in manufacturing
• Solid grounding in standard costing and variance analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (Infor M3, SAP, Oracle) and cost centre management

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insight and strategic recommendations to plant leadership
• Maintain standard costs for finished and semi-finished goods including BOMs and routings
• Perform variance analysis, monitor productivity, yield, scrap and OEE
• Oversee month-end closing, accruals and reconciliations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and ROI analysis for CapEx projects
