Job summary

Vivo Talent is seeking a Production Support Technician to join the Engineering team on a shift-based, full-time basis in England. The role focuses on supporting the introduction of new and existing products into production while driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence.

You will work with Operations Leaders, Planning and Engineering to ensure production runs safely and to high quality standards, applying your CNC tooling and CAD/CAM expertise across HyperMill and

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD/CAM tools and CNC programming.
• Proficiency in GD&T and metrology practices.
• Strong ERP system experience and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for new and existing product introductions.
• Collaborate with Operations Leaders to capture and implement engineering requirements.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Optimise machine utilisation and support safe shift operations.
• Coach and develop machinists and operators.
• Identify and resolve production issues using structured problem-solving.
• Support programming activities using CAD/CAM software (Hypermill/SolidWorks).
• Lead CI initiatives (SMED/lean) across the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards.
