Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a global aerospace organisation. You will lead the Chemical Processes & Surface Treatments Engineering team to support production, development programmes, and NPI across multiple international sites.

You will drive Zero Defect Manufacturing, Lean improvements, and process capability while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in engineering, ideally chemical/industrial/manufacturing.
Strong background in regulated industrial environments.
Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering operations support and project execution.
Experience managing new product introduction (NPI) and industrialisation programmes.
Strong project and programme management skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders across a complex organisation.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) or equivalents.

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers supporting production and development programmes.
Drive process control, manufacturing capability, and quality improvements.
Implement Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) and Lean methodologies.
Ensure processes are robust, compliant, and capable for new product introductions and production improvements.
Develop and deliver technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
Oversee production planning, tooling, and change management within constrained environments.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and regulators.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and reduce waste.
