Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in mechanical, manufacturing or production engineering.
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process development and continuous improvement.
• Experience as Engineering Manager or Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
• Root Cause Analysis (8D) and structured problem solving.
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical leadership across the complete manufacturing process.
• Head site engineering team and support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Ensure robust processes, support customer requirements, and safety.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes across the production route.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives and scrap reduction projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and drive improvements.
• Manage engineering projects from concept to implementation.
• Promote a safe working environment and compliance with legislation.
