Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Reading invites university students to join a 12-month Engineering (Manufacturing) placement at our Reading Plant. You will work on live projects, dive into real challenges, and receive a customised learning plan with coaching and training.

Start 5 July 2027 and finish 30 June 2028. You must have right to work in the UK for the full duration. The internship includes competitive salary (£31,500) and benefits, with potential to secure a full-time role after graduation.

Qualifications

• University students graduating in 2029 with a placement year as part of their degree.
• We also welcome applications from students graduating in 2027 or 2028 or those who have already graduated.
• Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities.
• Tell us what you’re proud of – be it playing a musical instrument or holding down a job alongside your studies.
• We want to get to know you during your application!
• Strong foundational understanding of engineering principles within your chosen field, as well as problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.

Responsibilities

• You will be given specific projects and responsibilities working on real and live business challenges, just like a true P&G er.
• You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.
• The placement’s duration is from 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028. We expect you to be available for the full duration.
