About our Reading Plant: From raw materials to finished products, our production facility is where innovation meets execution. Engineers and plant technicians work together to maintain efficiency, uphold safety, and ensure every product meets P&G's exacting quality standards - all whilst contributing to the bigger picture of delivering some of the most iconic P&G products like Gillette, Venus and Old spice! Our site is located close to the town centre and is served by motorway networks of M4 and M25 as well as the A33. We’re within 20 mins of Reading Central and Green Park railway stations and our site is served by buses that run every 10 minutes.
During your 12-month placement, you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in Engineering with P&G involves, and if it is right for you. You will be working on live business Engineering projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead. Each intern receives a customised learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring, and training as they deliver their work. You will be given specific projects and responsibilities working on real and live business challenges, just like a true P&G er.
You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.
The annual salary for this 12-month placement is £31,500.
Successful interns have the potential to secure a full-time position with P&G after graduation. As a 'build from within' company, our people start at entry level and progress through the organization. What We Look For:
The placement’s duration is from 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028. We expect you to be available for the full duration.
For our placement roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your placement without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. P&G is legally required to ensure all candidates have the right to work in the UK from Day 1 of their employment.
