Job summary

Simply Recruitment Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a permanent role near Ashton-under-Lyne. You will plan and coordinate manufacturing processes for components and assemblies across customer projects, collaborating with production, quality and NC programming teams.

The position requires experience in manufacturing engineering or planning, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while keeping milestones

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Planning environment.
• Experience planning manufacturing processes, routes or sequences.
• Good understanding of engineering/manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with Production, Quality and CNC/NC Programming teams.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements into practical manufacturing solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills with internal teams and customers.
• Proactive approach with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Planning manufacturing sequences and processes for individual parts and assemblies.
• Developing effective and efficient manufacturing routes to meet customer requirements.
• Liaising with NC Programming to ensure appropriate manufacturing methods.
• Working closely with Production and Quality to meet specifications.
• Monitoring project progress and providing updates to customers.
• Identifying and resolving manufacturing issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting the business with continuous improvement and best practice manufacturing methods.
• Ensuring projects remain on schedule and transitioning from planning to manufacture.
