Job summary

Innovate Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Stevenage to take ownership of manufacturing engineering processes and equipment. You will drive improvements in production while developing new skills and techniques on development and production lines.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent plus HNC or similar in a relevant subject.
• A degree in a relevant subject is also acceptable.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Support existing manufacturing lines and new product introduction.
• Translate design requirements into Manufacturing Build Instructions.
• Manage and update manufacturing documentation and BOMs.
• Develop and control tooling for manufacturing processes.
• Ensure safety, efficiency and cost-effective operation of processes.
• Coordinate with design authority during prototype/redevelopment to optimise DfM.
