Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a composite materials or machining background to join a global manufacturing group in Barnstaple. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes with a strong emphasis on automation and advanced machining.

You will use CAD/CAM programming to produce drawings and machining programmes, while helping prepare accurate product costings and ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM processes or machine operating.
• Background within a composite's environment.

Responsabilités

• Research into market trends and composite materials to create bespoke solutions for clients.
• Improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency.
• Produce 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings using CAD.
• Develop and prove complex machining programmes using CAM.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing and engineering issues.
• Work with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams on technical solutions and product costings.
