Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is assisting a Leeds-based client in recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for a permanent role. The position offers a day shift with a salary of £34,000–£36,500 per annum (DOE) and 28 days holiday.

You will develop products and processes from concept to production, using SolidWorks and AlphaCam in a fabrication/manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on CAD skills, the ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions are essential for success in

Qualifications

• ONC / HNC (or equivalent experience in engineering/manufacturing).
• Strong experience in a production or engineering environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Strong AlphaCam experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing products and processes from concept to production.
• Using SolidWorks to create production-ready designs and drawings.
• Creating CNC Programs using AlphaCam.
• Designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly solutions.
• Supporting CNC routing, machining, welding and fabrication processes.
• Creating BOMs and SOPs for manufacturing.
• Driving Lean / 6S improvements and reducing waste.
• Supporting prototypes, problem-solving and process optimisation.
