Manufacturing Engineer – Antennas

Location: Marlow, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £45-55k

Copello have partnered with leading aerospace manufacturer in Buckinghamshire. They are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support a key product line in their Marlow facility. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role providing direct support to day-to-day production and driving meaningful productivity improvements across the shop floor.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide first-line production support, resolving day-to-day issues impacting throughput and quality.
• Work closely with production staff and technicians on the shop floor to keep things moving smoothly.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions to keep production on track.
• Liaise with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure effective resolution of technical challenges.
• Drive hands-on improvements with a “bias for action” mindset—no ivory tower engineering here.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering role.
• Background in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with direct responsibility for solving shop floor issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving ability and initiative—you see issues and fix them, fast.
• Either a degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience in engineering or manufacturing.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RF/electronic assemblies or test systems.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with working in regulated industries (e.g. aerospace or defence).

Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
