Roundhouse Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer for a major UK subcontract manufacturer based in Hixon, Staffordshire. The role centers on improving shop-floor processes with ownership of jigs, fixtures and tooling, while driving continuous improvement and solving recurring production issues.

You will work closely with the engineering leadership to implement changes and take on broader responsibility toward Production Management as the role develops.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement on the shop floor.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Ability to read and produce engineering drawings and use CAD tools.

Aufgaben

• Design, modify and improve jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids.
• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements.
• Carry out root-cause analysis and solve recurring shop-floor problems.
• Produce and modify engineering drawings using CAD.
• Support practical manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide engineering support to production teams.
• Assist with machinery maintenance and external engineering support.
