Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd in England, Staffordshire, Hixon, is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Engineer to own shop-floor improvements with progression into Production Management. The role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, developing jigs/fixtures, and solving recurring issues in a high-mix environment.

You will join a practical, hands-on manufacturing team with autonomy and exposure to senior management, and you will benefit from a four-day week (Mon–Thu) with Fridays off and

Qualifications

• Experience as Production/Manufacturing/Process Engineer on the shop floor.
• Proven CAD skills and ability to read/produce drawings.
• Experience with jigs, fixtures, tooling or manufacturing process improvement.
• Ability to work independently and own engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify and improve jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids.
• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements.
• Carry out root-cause analysis and solve recurring shop-floor problems.
• Produce and modify engineering drawings using CAD.
• Support practical manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide engineering support to production teams.
