ARM International is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Filton, Gloucestershire, UK. You will assess supplier capabilities, coordinate industrial handovers, and contribute to design-to-manufacture reviews to improve manufacturability within aerospace projects.

The role requires a strong manufacturing background, knowledge of tolerances and drawings, and experience with CATIA. Aerospace experience is advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Degree level in Engineering or equivalent.
• Aerospace experience/background is ideal.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods, and the ability to assess design drawings for detailed manufacture with focus on manufacturability.
• Good understanding of tolerances and drawing dimensioning with machineability in mind.
• Working knowledge of CATIA.

Responsabilités

• Analyse Industrial Capability of Potential suppliers.
• Contribute to the Transfer of Work project team within the supplier network.
• Organise industrial kick-off meeting with the supplier.
• Lead Supplier Industrial Reviews until Industrial Coordination Handover.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis of Technical Abnormalities with Procurement Operations.
• Contribute to design to manufacture for industrialisation within Design Reviews.

You will be involved in:
