Job summary

Rapiscan Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to translate innovative designs into scalable manufacturing solutions. You will drive production readiness for new and existing products and collaborate across R&D, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities include developing work instructions and SOPs, managing Production BOMs, supporting NPI activities, and leading continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience with NPI, Design for Manufacture, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (D365) and production data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, CAD, and PLM systems is advantageous.

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and play a key role in transforming innovative designs into efficient, scalable manufacturing solutions.
