Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. You will be part of a team responsible for introducing new products into production while ensuring customer specifications are met.

The role involves designing production processes and layouts, with CAD experience beneficial. You will contribute to DFM/DFX during NPI and monitor yields to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience as Manufacturing/Production Engineer in medium/high volume environment.
• Ability to design/develop production processes and layouts; CAD experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Introduce new processes and equipment to manufacture products meeting customer requirements and input during DFM/DFX phase of NPI.
• Liaise with tooling suppliers, agreeing design, costs and lead times.
• Monitor yields and improve processes using CI tools and PFMEA to support quality documentation.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work on a variety of projects within this fast paced and dynamic team focused environment.

Position Overview:

• You will work in a team based environment and be responsible for ensuring the introduction of new products into production, ensuring that the customer specifications are met.

Key responsibilities:

• Introduce new processes and equipment required to manufacture products to a required level of output, whilst designing processes that meet the product / customer requirements and have input during the DFM/DFX phase of NPI.
• Introduce new processes and equipment and liaise with tooling suppliers, agreeing design, costs and lead times.
• Monitor yields and improve processes, using CI tools, carrying out PFMEA's to assist quality in their documentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• At least 3 years' experience working as a Manufacturing / Production Engineer within a medium / high volume environment
• The ability to design / develop processes and layouts for production, some CAD experience would be beneficial.
