Job Description

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support an aerospace manufacturing project involving critical composite components. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a high-priority programme, ensuring all parts meet strict compliance and regulatory standards before entering production.

Project Overview

Our client is bringing the manufacture of aerospace composite parts back in-house. This role is key in ensuring the quality documentation (PPAP, APQP, FAIR) is completed, structured, and submitted to meet compliance requirements. The project involves approximately 50 high-value components, with documentation being central to the release process.

  • Create and complete PPAP, APQP, and FAIR documentation
  • Format and structure documentation to meet internal and regulatory standards
  • Support engineering and quality teams in ensuring smooth documentation flow
  • Manage administrative activities related to part qualification and release
  • Help maintain traceability and compliance across all submitted records
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related field required
  • Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, and FAIR processes
  • Experience in quality or manufacturing engineering within aerospace or similar regulated industry
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation in a structured way
