The Role

• Design new systems, equipment, and processes for new product introduction or existing product improvement.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to deliver continuous improvement projects on time and within budget.
• Analyze and report on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, machine availability, and waste management.
• Support the transition of new tools to production by designing and implementing jigs, tooling, and frameworks.
• Liaise with toolmakers regarding new tools and tooling improvements.
• Review and calculate costs of tools and equipment, and predict overheads for future production needs.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, and equipment layout planning.
• Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or project management roles.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).
