Cpl Group, Lisburn, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing engineering team. You will lead product introductions to production, develop jigs and fixtures, and drive lean improvement across fabrication and assembly.

A third-level engineering qualification and at least 3 years’ experience are required, with CAD/CAM proficiency and FMEA experience. The role offers a competitive salary up to £40k and on-site work.

Formación

• Third-level qualification in an Engineering related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience carrying out Process FMEA studies and implementing improvements.
• Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes (plastics, aluminium, steel).
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD modelling software.
• Experience using CAD/CAM software.

Responsabilidades

Our client, a leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for innovation and quality, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team based in Lisburn.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities associated with the introduction of new products into production.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and costings.
• Design and develop production jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication and assembly operations.
• Support production teams in improving quality, efficiency, and process capability.
• Assist with the implementation and integration of new machinery and manufacturing technologies.
• Support supplier selection, outsourcing projects, and subcontract manufacturing development.
• Maintain technical documentation in line with relevant industry and quality standards.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams during product development projects.
• Conduct product validation and testing to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
