A day at MKS:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our company, MKS, based in Crewe. In this role, you will serve as the key point of contact between engineering projects and operations, reporting to the Production/Operations Manager.

You will make an impact by:

1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
2. Coordinating with design engineering to facilitate the release of new products.
3. Estimating manufacturing costs, determining time standards, and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines.
4. Maintaining records and reporting systems to coordinate manufacturing operations.

Your skills include:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively exchange information and ideas.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing is beneficial.
