As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll help define and deliver how complex, nuclear-grade components are made ensuring processes are robust, repeatable, and meet strict industry standards for safety and quality.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes for high-integrity nuclear components.
  • Create detailed, traceable documentation such as work instructions and control plans.
  • Ensure all methods align with strict nuclear codes and standards (e.g. ASME, RCC-M).
  • Support process validation to confirm manufacturing meets design intent.

  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing process development and validation.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical standards (e.g., ASME, RCC-M, ISO 9001).
  • Experience producing and managing process documentation and control plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with design and QA teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working with highly regulated or precision manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
