Qualifications

We are seeking a leader who can look beyond day-to-day production activities and focus on overall
business outcomes.

The role holder will be responsible for the overall management, performance and continuous improvement
of our production operations

The successful candidate will need to be passionate about manufacturing and driven not only by what is
produced, but also by understanding why processes are designed the way they are, identifying
opportunities to improve efficiency, optimising resource utilisation, and delivering stronger results.

Key Accountabilities
  • Developing and implementing production strategy, objectives and priorities;
  • Managing key production KPIs, ensuring production plan execution, analysing results and initiating improvement actions
  • Coordinating the activities of production department managers, setting objectives and monitoring performance
  • Improving production efficiency and productivity, ensuring optimal use of people and other resources
  • Managing the production budget, controlling costs and initiating cost reduction initiatives
  • Implementing new technologies, equipment, processes and solutions aimed at improving production efficiency
Management Responsibilities
  • Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied across teams. Monitor adherence and escalated issues promptly to protect company interests.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by role-modelling company values. Manage all peoplerelated activities, including recruitment, training, performance, and engagement.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Conduct risk assessments, provide clear instructions, and lead by example in all safety practices.
  • Embed company values in daily operations. Foster a culture focused on customers, caring for people, driving innovation, and simplifying processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
