Job summary

Premier Foods is seeking a Manufacturing Centre Manager at its Worksop site to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations. You will drive safety, quality, service, cost and productivity, while developing capable teams and delivering site objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, change management and data-driven improvement. You will translate strategy into actionable plans, manage budgets, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure exceptional performance and compliance with industry

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven track record of delivering operational performance and business targets.
• Exceptional people leadership, coaching and engagement skills.
• Ability to inspire teams and lead through change.
• Strong commercial and operational awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using performance measures and data analysis to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create and promote a Health, Safety and Environmental culture where everyone goes home safe.
• Lead operational performance across safety, quality, service, cost and productivity KPIs.
• Translate site strategy into clear operational plans and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams through engagement and succession planning.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, legal and company standards.
• Manage labour resources and budgets to meet operational requirements.
• Build strong working relationships across functions to deliver shared goals.
• Support capital investment projects and site improvement programmes.
• Maintain robust SAP compliance and operational reporting standards.
