Job summary

Premier Foods in Worksop seeks an experienced Manufacturing Centre Manager to lead one of our key sites. You will be responsible for end-to-end production, safety, quality, and performance, while developing the team and delivering site objectives.

You will translate strategy into actionable plans, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and labour, and build strong cross-functional partnerships to sustain safe, efficient operations at pace.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong track record of delivering operational performance and business targets.
• Exceptional people leadership, coaching and engagement skills.
• The ability to inspire teams and lead through change.
• Strong commercial and operational awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using performance measures and data analysis to drive improvement.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Creating and leading end-to-end production performance across safety, quality, service, cost and productivity KPIs.
• Translating site strategy into clear operational plans and deliverables.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams and succession planning.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, legal and company standards.
• Managing labour resources and budgets to meet operational requirements.
• Building cross-functional relationships to deliver shared goals.
• Supporting capital projects and site improvement programmes.
• Maintaining robust reporting and SAP compliance.
