Job summary

Genuit Group, a UK‑wide manufacturing group, seeks an experienced Business Analyst – Manufacturing to define, design and deliver best‑in‑class ERP processes across Finance, Manufacturing and Sales.

You will collaborate with business SMEs, internal IT teams and external ERP partners throughout the full lifecycle from requirements through to implementation and BAU, including testing, training and go‑live support across UK sites on a hybrid basis (Leeds or Doncaster).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a BA within Manufacturing.
  • Experience across full ERP implementation lifecycles.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle, Sage, Workday, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement and Inventory.
  • Confident communicator with stakeholder management skills.
  • Awareness of the full SDLC.

  • Lead process mapping, requirements gathering and gap analysis.
  • Author functional specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborate with ERP partners to align needs with capability.
  • Support end users through incident management and improvement.

  • Manage scope, timelines and technical risks with stakeholders.
  • Enable user adoption through stakeholder engagement.
  • Support go-live and BAU transition.
  • Conduct pre-project feasibility studies to aid decision making.

Job description

Genuit Group is a UK‑wide manufacturing group with a strong focus on operational excellence and digital enablement. We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Manufacturing to help define, design and deliver best‑in‑class ERP processes across our Finance, Manufacturing and Sales functions.

The role will be working closely with business SMEs, internal IT teams and external ERP partners, you’ll play a central role in improving how our systems support manufacturing operations. This is a hands‑on role covering the full ERP lifecycle, from requirements through to implementation and BAU support.

Key responsibilities
  • Design and deliver ERP system enhancements across multiple modules.
  • Lead process mapping, requirements gathering and gap analysis.
  • Author clear, robust functional specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborate with ERP partners to align business needs with system capability.
  • Support end users through incident management and continuous improvement.
  • Travel to UK sites as needed to work directly with operational teams.
  • Engage with cross‑functional stakeholders to manage scope, timelines, and technical risks.
  • Analyse existing processes, systems, and documentation to identify improvement areas
  • Identify data flows, ownership, and key touchpoints
  • Evaluate solution options and support vendor selection through demonstrations and analysis
  • Create wireframes and prototypes for requirements finalisation
  • Validate solutions with stakeholders and ensure alignment to business goals
  • Support testing activities, including UAT planning, execution, and defect analysis
  • Assess change impacts and support development of training and communications, including but not limited to training need analysis
  • Perform pre-project feasibility studies to aid decision making
  • Enable user adoption through effective stakeholder engagement
  • Support go‑live, hyper‑care, and transition to business‑as‑usual
  • Facilitate post‑implementation reviews to measure outcomes against success criteria and KPIs
About you
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within Manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. IFS, SAP, Oracle, Sage, Workday, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement and Inventory processes.
  • Experience working through full ERP implementation lifecycles.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Awareness of the full SDLC

Location: Hybrid - Leeds or Doncaster
